When Pete and I started working on this song it was 2017. When the corona virus hit, we thought, these words really speak to the situation we collectively find ourselves in. Pete had recorded a late night version of himself singing the song, it had great spirit. We decided to add my vocal and send it out into the world.
We knew that so many people, especially those who live paycheck to paycheck would really need to lean on their local services right now. That’s when we decided to offer this track for what ever you can pay with all the proceeds at this time going to Vashon Youth and Family Services.
